A total of four Myanmar nationals were arrested by police on the evening of December 4 with nine containers of chemical solution believed to be used in the production of drugs to be transported from Thailand to Myanmar, according to reports from Thailand.
On the evening of December 4, 2024, members of the Mae Sot District Special Forces, Mae Sot Customs and Police arrested them, while conducting a joint security patrol in Phop Phra District.
The joint team conducting the area security operation identified the suspects as Ko Myo Thu, Ko Htun, both in their 40s, and two young men, Ko Thu Law and Ko Htaw.
The items seized from the four Myanmar nationals are nine plastic containers, which are raw materials used in the production of drugs.
The four Myanmar nationals who were arrested have been taken to Phop Phra Police Station to take legal action.
