It is reported that the driver is dead when a taxi crashed into a roadside sign in Thaketa Township on the night of September 24.

On September 24, at around 11:30 pm, a taxi over-speeded and crashed into a roadside sign near the Max fuel station on Ayeyawon Road, Thaketa Township, and the driver was reported to have been trapped, according to Thaketa Township Social Assistance Group and Emergency Medical Service.

The taxi driver had to pull him out because he was trapped inside the car, and he was taken to the hospital by the Manawphyu social assistance vehicle. The 35-year old taxi driver died at the hospital.
