Tanyingone-Mingaladon-Paywetseikgone railroad section was back into service on October 17 as it was already upgraded, said a source from Myanma Railways.

Tanyingone-Mingaladon-Paywetseikgone railroad section, the eastern part of Yangon circular road, was upgraded starting from December 21 in 2018 after closing up and down train railroads. It was back into service on October 17.

The re-opened railroad section includes Okkalapa, Waibargi, Mingaladon, Mingaladon Market, Kyaikkalei, and the golf course station and almost 4,000 passengers take the rain every day, according to the MR.

The 2.5 mile long Paywetseikgone-Yaykuu railroad section is going to be upgraded on the day. There may be a few changes in circular train schedule as Tanyingone-Mingaladon-Paywetseikkon railroad section will be re-opened.              

Ticket price remains unchanged. The ticket price costs Ks 100 within 15 miles and Ks 200 above 15 miles. The upgrading of the eastern part of Yangon circular road is being carried out by Shwetaung Company.

Myanmar Railways is carrying out level crossing upgrading starting from 27 February, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications.

Yangon circular road upgrading is under implementation spending Japanese loan of US$ 207 million and K 54 billion of Union budget and it will be completed in 2022-2023 FY. It has been upgraded since 2016-2017 FY.
