State lottery sales decline over 15,000 ticket books this month

A total of 279,798 lottery ticket booklets were sold for the 38th Aung Barlay State Lottery winners, which will be announced on May 1, declining by over 15,000 booklets compared to the previous month, according to Aung Barlay State Lottery Division under the Internal Revenue Department.

Before the announcement of the 37th 38th Aung Barlay State Lottery winners on April 1, 295,361 booklets were sold.

Lottery ticket sales for the May 1 announcement amounted to Ks2,797.980 million, 70% of which (K1,958.586 million) will be awarded to selected winners.

There will be only two special cash awards: Ks500 million and Ks100 million. Other prizes include two Ks50-million awards, seven Ks20-million awards, eight Ks10-million awards, ten Ks5-million awards and so on.

The 38th Aung Barlay State Lottery winners who bought Ks1,000 tickets will be held at the Aung Barlay State Lottery Division in Kyauktada Township, Yangon Region, at 8 am on May 1.
