SAC reshuffles its members, allowing U Maung Ko and Dr Aung Kyaw Min to retire from duty

The State Administration Council (SAC) issued an order on August 2 the State Administration Council has been reorganized and constituted with 18 members in accordance with the Article 419 of the Constitution.

Senior General Min Aung Hlaing is acted as the SC Chairman, Vice-Senior General Soe Win as the Vice Chairman, Lt. Gen. Aung Lin Dway as the council secretary and Lt. Gen. Ye Win Oo as the council joint secretary.

The council members are General Tin Aung San, General Mya Tun Oo, Lieutenant General Moe Myint Tun, Lieutenant General Soe Htut, Lieutenant General Yar Pyae, U Wunna Maung Lwin, Daw Dwe Bu, Porel Aung Thein, Mahn Nyein Maung, Dr Hmu Htan, Dr Ba Shwe, Khun San Lwin, U Shwe Kyein and U Yan Kyaw.

In addition, the SAC has also announced that according to Article 419 of the Constitution, the members of the SAC, U Maung Ko and Dr Aung Kyaw Min, have been allowed to retire from their duties.

Similarly, the SAC has also announced that according to Article 419 of the Constitution, Dr. Kyaw Htun, a member of the SAC, has been transferred to the position of central advisor to the council.
