Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, currently in the Russian Federation, held a meeting with Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the Eastern Economic Forum Organizing Committee Mr. Anton Kobyakov on the FEFU Campus in Vladivostok of Russia on the evening of September 6.
Both sides discussed the invitation to the 7th Eastern Economic Forum-2022, the building of good relations between Russia and Myanmar and the two militaries as the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries comes next year and the building of good relations in the civil area and promotion of economic cooperation similar to successful cooperation in military technology.
They also discussed plans to unveil new cooperation sectors between the two brotherly countries, arrangements to launch direct flights to enhance the tourism industry and promote the trade sector, and further strengthening of the friendly ties between the governments and the peoples of both countries and multi-sectorial cooperation.
After the meeting, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and Mr. Anton Kobyakov exchanged gifts.
