The Myanmar government evacuated Myanmar citizens facing difficulties in South Korea and Cambodia due to COVID-19 pandemic by using relief flights from Myanmar Airways International (MAI), announced the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The 11st relief flight left Incheon International Airport on June 30 carrying 119 Myanmar citizens from South Korea, United States, United Kingdom, Norway, Japan, Belgium, Canada, Germany, Vietnam and South Sudan and 10 Myanmar seafarers.
Similarly, the MAI relief plane evacuated 90 Myanmar citizens and seven foreigners, who are in emergency case, from Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
