Preliminary Competition of Miss Universe 2018 will be held today, 13 Dec, in Impact Arena, Bangkok in Thailand.

Miss Universe Myanmar Hnin Thway Yu Aung will represent Myanmar in the competition with costume designs created by Designer Phyo Ko.

“I prepared my best during one year to have the body figure, practice catwalk, intelligence test and general knowledge test. I also performed philanthropic activities. I am trying to promote the image of Myanmar in this competition. I will compete in the competition with the best,” said the winner of Miss Universe Myanmar.

The competition was held from the end of November and Hnin Thway Yu Aung is competing with contestants from over the world. She competed in some events including national costume competition.

The final round of Miss Universe 2018 will be held on December 16 in Bangkok.

Myanmar beauty queens, Moe Set Wine, Sharr Htut Eaindra, May Barani Thaw, Htet Htet Tun and Zun Thanzin, competed in the competition since 2013.
