Lower House Parliament yesterday approved the proposal urging the Union government to ensure the contribution of local production sector to the global supply chain and help local entrepreneurs get cash and technical assistance after a review of investment policies.

At the session of Lower House Parliament on May 15, MPs debated the proposal submitted by Lower House MP Cho Cho representing Ottwin Constituency on May 2. Ministry of Industry seconded that proposal.

“The submission of this proposal aims to help stalled local businesses get cash and technical assistance, help develop local MSME, relax the complicated rules, regulations and processes which hamper the operations of businesses, lay down the update policies and laws which will help support the development of national economy and to rapidly implement the aim of entering the global supply chain after the formation of Myanmar Industrial Development Committee for the emergence of regional competitive industries,” MP Cho Cho added.
