Over $7 million's worth of medicine imported via Maritime trade in one week

Around 500 tons of medicine worth more than US$7 million were imported via maritime trade from August 12 to 18 this year and it is less than 100 tons compared with the previous week according to Ministry of Commerce.

About 500 tons of medicines worth of U.S $ 7.459 million were imported from August 12 to 18 in a week. They were imported from Argentina, Belgium, Switzerland, Australia, Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Cyprus, Ecuador, Germany, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Netherland, Pakistan, Spain, the Philippines, Singapore, Portugal, Thailand, U.S.A, and Vietnam.

In July, nearly U.S $ 23 million worth of medicine which was about 900 tons were imported.

From July 1 to 31, more than 900 tons of medicines worth U.S $ 23 million were imported thorugh maritime trade. From June 1 to 30, nearly U.S $ 34.741 million worth of medicine worth about 1900 tons were imported.
