Over 120 human trafficking cases reported in six months

From January to June, this year, there were 171 victims of human trafficking and 126 reported human trafficking cases nationwide, according to the Anti-Human Trafficking Police.

According to the police records, there were 28 victims and 23 cases in January, 31 victims and 18 cases in February, 25 victims and 22 cases in March, 21 victims and 15 cases in April, 36 victims and 26 cases in May and 30 victims and 22 cases in June.

Forced marriage and labour topped the list of human trafficking cases.

During the same period last year, there were 107 reported human trafficking cases and 181 victims.
