One more man from Saigaung Village in KhinU Township, Sagaing Region, was killed on the night of November 26 after allegations of being a military informant and involvement in the Pyusawhtee group (alleged military supporters), according to local sources.

The man was killed at home in his village after about 8pm.

"One Saigaung villager was killed in his own village on the night of November 26. On the full moon day of Tazamone also, a couple was killed in the same village," said a local resident in KhinU.

A group called Jungle Cobra claimed responsibility on its Facebook page for killing the 30-year-old man as he was a military informant and got involved in the Pyusawhtee group. The couple was also murdered for being informers and involvement in the Pyusawhtee group.

Jungle Cobra claimed they had killed 67 people for their alleged involvement in the Pyusawhtee group and being informants.

In November alone, about 15 locals were killed in KhinU Township where ward administrators, military informers and Pyusawhtee group members have been frequently killed, according to local sources.
