National Security Adviser and Union Minister at the SAC Chairman’s Office Ministry (4) Admiral Moe Aung received the delegation led by Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to Myanmar at the State Administration Council office in Nay Pyi Taw on January 17.

During the meeting, the two sides cordially and frankly discussed issues related to friendship and cooperation between the two countries, implementation of development projects and security issues, and cooperation in stability and peace of the border regions between the two countries.

Officials from the State Administration Council Office and officials from the embassy of India attended the meeting.

Similarly, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Lwin Oo met Mr Vinay Kumar, Ambassador of India to Myanmar at the Ministry office in Nay Pyi Taw.

Dring the meeting, they cordially exchanged views on further enhancement of the friendly bilateral relations between the two countries, cooperation in areas of mutual interest, particularly capacity building and human resource development, progress of the on-going development projects, cooperation to maintain peace and stability in the border area, as well as closer collaboration in regional and international contexts such as the BIMSTEC.
