Myanmar University Wushu team grabbed three more gold medals and a silver medal in second day of the Asean University games 2018 held in Nay Pyi Taw.

Myanmar team won two gold medals from Taolu event and one from Sanshou event. Nyein Chan Ko Ko earned 9.6 points in men Taijijian event and won gold medal with 19.22 points in men’s Taijiquan and Taijijian all-round competition. His compatriot Khant Min Htet got silver with 19.1 points in the same event. Indonesia won bronze medal.

In women’s Taijijian event, Myat Noe Eain won gold medal with 9.6 points. Malaysian player got silver medal and Singapore player won bronze medal. Nine Tan from Myanmar won gold medal after beating his teammate Phyo Zeya in Men’s 52 Kg. Aye Thitsar Myint is leading in the women’s Wushu Nandao competition with 9.61 points followed by Malaysia and Thailand. Khine Zin Thet from Myanmar stood in second place of Tán Tuǐ event and the winner will be announced today.

Host Myanmar won four gold medals and a silver medal after second day of the competition. Myanmar is targeting to win five gold medals and above in this competition.
