Myanmar reports 630 new patients on June 22

Myanmar found 630 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on June 22 bringing total number of patients to 149,247, according to Ministry of Health and Sports (MOHS).

A total of 5,090 samples are tested between 8 pm of June 21 and 8 pm of June 22 and found 630 patients. Two more people died from the virus bringing total number of death tolls to 3,267, it said.

It said 37 samples tested in labs under the MOHS, two samples tested using GeneXpert machines in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, all regions and states, eight samples tested at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon, one sample tested at No.1 1,000-Bed Military Hospital in Nay Pyi Taw, 20 samples tested at private hospitals and labs, 173 samples tested using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in hospitals in Nay Pyi Taw, all regions and states and 389 samples tested using COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Diagnostic Test in public health departments in regions and states, are found infected with the virus.

A total of 2,684,756 samples are tested till June 22 and 140 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospital bringing total number to 133,893, it said.
