Myanmar found 347 new COVID-19 confirmed cases on December 9 bringing total number of patients to 525,750, according to an announcement from Ministry of Health (MOH).

A total of 15,473 samples were tested between 8 pm of December 8 and 8 pm of December 9 and found 347 patients. Five more people died from the virus bringing total number of death tolls to 19,162, according to a report from the ministry.

A total of 5,750,372 samples are tested till December 9 and 430 people are allowed to be discharged from the hospitals bringing total number to 501,950, it said.
