Myanmar mangoes from central Myanmar region get good prices through exports to the Chinese market. The Muse 105th mile border trade zone sees an inflow of around 200 mango-loaded trucks a day.

“The fruit market at the Muse 105th mile border trade zone receives an inflow of mango stocks from Mandalay. During this month, the number of mango-loaded trucks which enter the trade zone every day has increased from  over 100 to nearly 200,” said Kyaw Kyaw Hlaing from the North-East Door Public Company.

The mango market in the Muse 105th mile border trade zone has started receiving the arrivals of Seintalone mangoes from Shan State and other kinds of mangoes from the central Myanmar.

“This year, the mangoes get good prices. The shortage of baskets used in packing mangoes hamper the inflow of mangoes into the market. The mango prices have increased slightly,” said Sai Khin Maung from Khwarnyo fruit sale center at Muse 105th mile fruit market.

In late May, the Muse 105th mile border trade zone received the arrivals of 27,024 tons of mangoes, 10,137 tons of watermelon, 58 tons of muskmelon and 480 tons of sweet potatoes.
