The Myanmar Rowing Team which earned many medals in the 14th ASIAN Dragon Boat Championship got more 2 silvers and 2 bronzes in Thailand Traditional Boat and International Swan Boat Race 2022.
The 14th ASIAN Dragon Boat Championship was held in Pattaya, Thailand from 16 to 22 November, and Myanmar Rowing Team won nine silvers and three bronzes in ASIAN Dragon Boat Championship.
Thailand Traditional Boat and International Swan Boat Race 2022 was held on the Chao Phraya River in Bangkok from 22 to 26 November, and Myanmar team won two bronze medals and two silver medals.
So, Myanmar team won totaling 11 silvers and five bronzes and ranked 4th at the International level.
A total of 12 teams including, the host Thai, Australia, Cambodia, Chinese Taipei team, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, and Singapore participated in the competition.
The Philippines team and the Laos team also competed in the traditional Thai rowing competition.
The Indonesia team won the first while the Thai team grabbed the second. The Chinese team won the third and the Myanmar team won the fourth during the traditional tourney.
