YANGON- Myanmar finds a record-breaking of 100 new COVID-19 infections in a single day, bringing the total number of patients to 887, according to the announcement of the Ministry of Health and Sports this morning.
A total of 1,741 samples: 932 samples tested at National Health Laboratory in Yangon, 218 samples tested at the Department of Medical Research, 64 samples tested at General Health Laboratory in Mandalay, 256 samples General Health Laboratory in Mawlamyaing, 123 samples tested at Sittwe General hospital, 28 samples tested at Kyaukphyu General Hospital, 12 samples tested at No.1 1000-Bed in Nay Pyi Taw, 1 sample each tested at Muse General Hospital and Loikaw General Hospital and 106 samples tested at N0.1 1000-Bed Military Hospital in Yangon were tested for the first batch of August 31st and found record-break of 95 new confirmed cases.
Till this morning, the confirmed number of COVID-19 patients as per lab test is 887. The number of deaths remains 6.
