Myanmar and China discuss cooperation in the fight against online fraud and peace and stability in the border region

The delegation led by Union Minister for Home Affairs Lieutenant General Yar Pyae and the delegation led by Mr. Wang Xiaohong, Minister for Public Security the People's Republic of China met online at 6 pm on January 5, sources said.

During the meeting, issues related to the implementation of the decisions agreed upon at the 7th Myanmar-China Cooperation Ministerial Meeting on Law and Order and Security, issues related to bilateral cooperation in combating transnational crime and online fraud, issues related to cooperation for the stability and peace of the Myanmar-China border region and issues related to friendly cooperation between the two countries.

Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Immigration and Population, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Myanmar Ambassador to the People's Republic of China and officials attended the meeting.
