Mon State Immigration Office near Zaygyo roundabout in Zaygyo ward, Mawlamyine Township, Mon State, was bombed by a drone around 7:30 pm of December 2, according to nearby residents.

A person who lived in Zaygyo ward said that the bomb by using a drone fell near a flagpole situated in front of the Mon State Immigration Office and it exploded. They heard a loud voice of explosion and there was no injury.

The Union Minister of Immigration is currently in Mawlamyine Township. When the Mon State Immigration Office was attacked with a drone, he was in No.7 Basic Education High School in Maungngan ward, according to the locals who are very close to the state immigration office.

After the state immigration office was attacked with a drone, security had been tightened at the entry and exit gates of Mawlamyine Township.

At night of December 1, explosion had occurred when a drone dropped a bomb on the lamp-post in front of Mawlamyine golf course in Ngantay ward in Mawlamyine Township.
