The Myanmar Overseas Employment Agencies Federation (MOEAF) has welcomed complaints against illegal employment agencies that are sending workers to Thailand.

The federation has already announced a list of 109 registered agencies permitted to officially send Myanmar workers to Thailand.

The statement issued by MOEAF invited complaints against illegal agencies excluded in the list. Yun Nadi Oo Co Ltd, Today Top Star General Services Co Ltd, Kaung Myat San Thu Co Ltd, Shwe Yi Phyo Aung Co Ltd and Aye Lin Lat Htut Co Ltd are among the list of legitimate employment agencies.

Those agencies, brokers and training schools excluded in the list are not officially allowed recruiting, charging and sending workers to Thailand and doing documentation including passport making.

The federation has therefore invited complaints and lawsuits against fraudulent agencies or brokers.

Thailand is Myanmar's neighbouring country to which most Myanmar migrant workers go. There are about 10 million Myanmar migrant workers in Thailand, according to a Thai-based aid organization for Myanmar migrant workers.
