Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) is planning to fly 10th relief flight to Singapore to evacuate Myanmar citizens in the country on July 8, announced the airline.
A total of 1,000 Myanmar citizens in Singapore are brought back to Myanmar in previous relief flights.
The list of the passengers will be the same with the passengers’ list announced by Myanmar embassy in Singapore.
A total of 154 Myanmar citizens, including those whose job permits are canceled, were onboard the ninth relief flight on June 28. Some of them are stranded in Singapore while they visited Singapore for a short stay and some of them are released from the prison. Some are students.
The airline is start flied Ygn-BKK-YGN cargo flight on June 26.
The MNA is providing cargo flight services not to face shortage of consumer goods in Myanmar and to export consumer goods.
No passenger is allowed to onboard the cargo flights as aircrafts carrying passengers are banned to land at Yangon International Airport (YIA).
The airline is flying cargo chartered flights in Asian region with affordable prices.
At the present, more than 100 times of relief and cargo flights are operated by airlines including MNA and MAI and international airlines since the ban on international flights at the YIA.
They can provide assistance not only to search and rescue operations but also to provide medicines and medical equipment to control and prevent the spread of COVID-19 virus.
