MNA commences Yangon-Kunming-Yangon international flight

Myanmar National Airlines (MNA) commenced Yangon-Kunming-Yangon international flight starting on November 5. The route is scheduled three days per week that will be available on Monday, Friday and Sunday.

A ceremony to commemorate the launch of Yangon-Kumming-Yangon international flight was held at the Yangon International Airport(Terminal 1).

Similarly, the MNA operated a domestic flight, Yangon-Myeik-Yangon, starting from 4 November and scheduled to fly on Monday, Thursday and Saturday with Boeing 737-800 NG.

In addition, MNA introduced Yangon-Kumming cargo flight from Yangon International Airport on November 3 with a Boeing 400 freighter.

The MNA started operating Boeing 737-400 Freighter cargo flights between Yangon and Kolkata, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore starting from September 28.

It flies the Yangon-Kolkata-Yangon flight on September 28 and October 4 and the Yangon-Bangkok-Yangon flight every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.

It served the Yangon-Kuala Lumpur-Yangon route every Wednesday and the Yangon-Singapore-Yangon route on 13 October.

To mark MNA’s 75th Anniversary (Diamond Jubilee) celebration, MNA leased new Boeing 737-400 cargo aircraft from Malaysia and it arrived in Myanmar on 15 September. The new cargo flight can carry 18 tonnes of cargo.

MNA is planning to extend the cargo flight services to China, Singapore, Malaysia and India that are the regional countries.
