Military camps in Yangon provide healthcare services to isolated persons

YANGON-The Commander-in-Chief of the Defence Services Office announced a statement on March 31st that the military camp situated in Hlaing Township, Yangon Region, already received isolated persons to control the spread of COVID-19 outbreak so also the military is providing healthcare services to them.

Moreover, Tatmadaw[military] is now preparing to monitor 2,000 isolated persons.

From March 31st to April 1st, the military received 53 of isolated persons, according to Brig-Gen Zaw Min Tun, secretary of Tatmadaw True News Information Team.

The Yangon Region Command Headquarter, regional medical corps and officials are carrying out the accommodation activities of the isolated persons and their healthcare services.

The military announcement also reported that the army medical corps is educating the public, networking with civil agencies and training military medics to treat COVID-19 patients.

Moreover, the military medical crops sprayed disinfectant at the crowded places such as railway stations, airports, monasteries and religious buildings across the nation.
