Myanmar Football Federation (MFF) agreed with Zaw Lin Tun, head coach of Sagaing United FC, about the appointment of assistant coach for Myanmar national men's football team, said a source close to the MFF.

Myanmar national men's football squad has yet to play friendly matches against Singapore and therefore it will enter a training starting on June 3.

Zaw Lin Tun will join hands with head coach Miodrag Radulovic of Myanmar men's football squad.

"MFF agreed with U Zaw Lin Tun about the appointment of the assistant coach for Myanmar national men's football squad. His contract with Sagaing Utd has not expired yet. We will assign duties to Zaw Lin Tun for both teams. A goal coach will be signed during these days," said Ko Ko Thein, General Secretary of the MFF.

Sagaing Utd coached by Zaw Lin Tun is enjoying good results during this season, winning against power house teams and reaching the semifinal stage in General Aung San Knockout Shield. It also stands at the fifth position in Myanmar National League after the first legs.

MFF signed a 20-month contract with Miodrag Radulovic to fill in the position of Myanmar national team. The friendly match against Singapore will be the first test for Radulovic. Myanmar national team will participate in the qualifier of 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asian Cup.
