Myanmar’s marine product export volume reached US$ 720.021 million from April 1 of 2018 to March 31 of 2019, up more than US$ 8 million compared to the same period of last year, the Department of Fisheries reported.

The marine product export volume reached US$ 711.717 million with more than 560,000 tons last year. The marine product export volume reached US$ 720.021 million  with more than 590,000 tons this year. According to the comparison between this year and last year, the marine product export volume was up more than US$ 8.304 million with more than 30,000 tons.

Myanmar’s marine product export volume has now reached a record high throughout the export history, said Win Kyaing, General Secretary of Myanmar Fisheries Federation.

 Myanmar’s marine product export volume reached US$ 482 million in 2014-2015 FY, US$ 502 million in 2015-2016 FY, US$ 652 million in 2016-2017 FY and more than US$ 711 million in 2017-2018 FY, according to the Department of Fisheries of  Myanmar.
