Mandalay businessmen meet with US investors

MANDALAY- With the aim to invest more US investors in Myanmar, the businessmen from Mandalay Region yesterday met with 30 delegates from US companies led by US-ASEAN Business Council at the office of Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The US companies are Abbott, Amazon, Bower Group Asia, Chevron, Coca-Cola, Ford, Google, Master Card and Visa.

“The US-ASEAN Business Council was established 35 years ago. The council helps the US businesses to invest in Southeast Asia country. The branches of the council already have been situated in seven countries among 10 ASEAN nations. We firstly form a team in Myanmar together with US ICT Council for Myanmar. It is the first step of the council. The US companies invested US$ 329 billion in the Asia. We are very keen to invest in Myanmar. Some companies are now beginning their investments in Myanmar,” said President & CEO Alexander C.Feldman from US-ASEAN Business Council.

It is the first time meeting and the US-ASEAN Business Council also held a meeting with the entrepreneurs in Yangon.
