MAI offers to carry Oxygen concentrator and other medical stuff for free

YANGON------Myanmar Airways International (MAI) offers to carry Oxygen concentrator and essential medical equipment & supplies donation items free of charge (FOC) as their part of domestic and international rescue flights.

MAI also offers is available on their relief and schedule relief operations, including Kuala Lumpur, Seoul-Incheon, Bangkok and Guangzhou in joining hand with the Air KBZ.

MAI is honored to support the efforts by providing much-needed air cargo capacity to move essential goods quickly and reliably into Myanmar.

Subject to space availability & approval from concerned authorities (non-Dangerous Goods, etc.) and excludes non-airfreight charges (Customs, charges, warehouse charges, etc.).

MAI extended the suspension of domestic and international flights until July 31st.

MAI halted international flights to Singapore and Kolkata until July 31st. But, they allowed rescue flights to Kuala Lumpur, Seoul-Incheon and Bangkok.

International travel to Myanmar is currently not possible, and all international commercial flights are banned under a Department of Civil Aviation department order that is due to expire this evening, 30 June. However, the DCA is expected to extend the ban for another month until 31 July. Under the ruling, repatriation and cargo flights are allowed.

Likewise, Yangon International Airport has extended the suspension of all incoming international passenger flights until July 31st aiming to control the spreading of deadly Coronavirus, according to Ministry of Transport and Communications.
