HINTHADA------The Kayin People’s Party (K.P.P) from Hinthada Township, Ayeyawady Region, met with the voters at their office yesterday and they reviewed the election results and discussed the future programs.
“We, the K.P.P competed in the General Election-2020. Now, we meet with our Kayin National voters aiming to review the election results and to discuss future programs,” said Saw Aung Mon Soe, K.P. P’s secretary.
“We have no village and ward level establishment of the party. During election campaign, we had to go to the villages. Moreover, some villages banned us due to COVID-19 outbreak. Some limited the party members during the election canvassing. So, the youths who will support us didn’t participate in our election canvassing. But, our party improved comparing the previous election 2015 because the public and youths showed support for our party,” said K.P.P’s candidate Saw Nay Lin Maung who competed in the Lower House Constituency representing Hinthada Township.
The K.P.P had contested the posts of Lower House, Regional Parliament and ethnic Karen affairs minister representing Hinthada Township, Ayeyawady Region in general election-2020.
