It is the very first programme shot by CANAL+ Myanmar FG media. The main presenter of the programme is Mr. Alex Bescoby with Aung Si Thu as the co-presenter.

In the programme, it featured journey within and from Puta O, a town located in northern most part Myanmar. The hosts showcased locations along the way such as prominent cities and towns, beautiful scenery, less-known places and history, local people’s daily living style and customs as they traveled downward through Myanmar.

“On the trips, I faced many challenges as well as having the most wonderful time. Some of the most memorable times were when we were driving a jeep along Kalaw’s road, the trip to central part of Myanmar, the first sight of seeing snow-capped mountains and a night’s stay at icy river near Puta O region. I also have wonderful memories of seeing the stars at night and the sun rise of the Himalayan Mountain. That place is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been,” said presenter Mr. Alex Bescoby.

Mr. Alex Bescoby is an award-winning British filmmaker and presenter. He is an expert in Myanmar history as well as work and lives in Myanmar. He studied various cultures and traditions of ethnic national races when travelling across Myanmar. He had also produced a documentary titled  “We Were Kings”  that explores the royal family of Myanmar and their history. It took four years to produce that documentary.

He was awarded the £80,000 (K134 million) Funding Award from the Whicker’s World Foundation for his movie ‘Burma’s Lost Royals’, which he began working on in 2014.

Co-host of “Incredible Journey” Aung Si Thu is a geologist and one of the relatives of King Thibaw, the last King of Myanmar.
