Fuel prices in Yangon have risen again, with 92 Ron now costing 3,100 kyats per liter and diesel reaching 3,190 kyats per liter, according to the Fuel Import, Storage, and Distribution Supervisory Committee.
As of October 11, the wholesale reference prices in Yangon show 95 Ron priced at 3,350 kyats per liter, diesel at 2,690 kyats per liter, and premium diesel at 3,340 kyats per liter.
In the past few days, 92 Ron was priced at 2,955 kyats per liter, 95 Ron at 3,150 kyats, diesel at 2,570 kyats, and premium diesel at 3,190 kyats. This marks an increase of 145 kyats for 92 Ron, 200 kyats for 95 Ron, 120 kyats for diesel, and 150 kyats for premium diesel per liter.
The fuel prices had started to decrease on October 4, but after a week, they surged again. On October 3, the price for 92 Ron was 3,135 kyats, 95 Ron was 3,290 kyats, diesel was 2,585 kyats, and premium diesel was 3,230 kyats per liter. Compared to these rates, the latest prices reflect decreases of 180 kyats for 92 Ron, 140 kyats for 95 Ron, 40 kyats for premium diesel, and 15 kyats for diesel.
