The explosion took place at the traffic control office at BOC intersection in Hlaingthaya Township, Northern District of Yangon, at around 6:30 am on September 29, according to the residents.
"I heard a loud noise. The explosion occurred at the traffic control office at the BOC intersection. I haven’t heard about casualties," said a resident.
Security forces conducted an investigation after the blast.
Another explosion took place in front of Myat Myitta Mon petrol station in Hlaing Township on the morning of September 28, injuring three people.
