Explosion occurs at a teashop in Sanchaung injuring two

An explosion occurred at Khitsanthu teashop on Baho Road, Sanchaung Township about 12:30 pm on June 9 and two people are injured, according to people lived nearby.

“The bomb exploded inside the teashop and it hit two people. One has injuries in his temple and another has injuries in his back. They are sent to the hospital. Security forces are arrived after the blast and checked people,” said a person lived nearby.

The teashop is closed after the blast.

Similarly, an explosion occurred under the pedestrian bridge near Tadaphyu bus stop on Pyay Road in Kamaryut Township on the evening of June 8, according to people lived nearby.

“The blast made a loud noise but no one has injured. The security forces came after the blast and blocked one side of Pyay Road to check cars and people,” said a person lived nearby.

A blast also occurred at Mingalar Street in Insein Township on June 8, sources said.

Series of explosions occurred in Yangon Region since at the end of April and an explosion occurred at Denko fuel station on Khaymarthi Road in North Oakkalapa Township killed a man on May 15.

Moreover a hundred-household administrator was shot dead at Manpyay-20 Street in Thaketa Township on May 27 and explosions were occurred for at least five times in the township. On June 1 and 2, five explosions occurred in Mingalataungnyunt Township.
