The families of Eleven Media Group employees donated Waso robes, which is done every year during the Lent period, and donated various kinds of food, such as rice, to the monks who are studying the Buddhist Scriptures at Pitaka Thone Pone Nikel Monastery in South Dagon Township, Yangon Region on July 27.

The family of Eleven Media Group employees donated various kinds of donations, such as rice, cooking oil, salt, onion, chili and canned fish to Baddanta Thilakana Bhiwantha, the presiding monk of Pitaka Thone Pone Nikel Monastery and around 200 monks.

Regarding the donation, the presiding monk awarded the dedication.

The families of Eleven Media Group employees have been donating various kinds of donations, such as robes and rice during Lent period, so that the monks do not have to deal with daily food and rice dishes.

The EMG held Waso robe-offering ceremony at its headquarters and the storm-shelter Thaddharamathi Monastery in Thakya Hin-O Village, Dedaye Township, Pyapon District, Ayeyawady Region on July 12, 2022.

In addition, on July 20, the families of Eleven Media Group employee made a donation of Waso robes and rice to the monastery of Pwinttauk Village, Sidoktaya Township, Magway Region, for the fifth time during Lent period.

At the ceremony, monks from Pwinttauk Village and surrounding villages were offered Waso robes and food was donated to the locals.

In 2015, the whole village was displaced due to heavy rains and the flooding of Mone River. A reinforced concrete monastery worth 100 million kyats was built and donated in order to provide shelter for the monks and the people of the village in case of another natural disaster.

In addition, the Eleven Media Group family donated twenty-eight pagodas, including a bronze statue and a throne, and a Buddhist ordination hall.
