Eight Myanmar migrant workers committed suicide in Malaysia during COVID-19

Undocumented Myanmar migrant workers committed suicide during COVID-19 as difficulties to survive in Malaysia increases. As there are lockdown imposed in the wake of CPVID-19 pandemic, as well as  fearing on the crackdown of illegal migrant workers, there are eight Myanmar migrant workers committed suicide in Malaysia.

A 38-year-old male from Longlone  Township in Taninthayi Region in  Myanmar committed suicide. The 7th committed suicide was a 20 year old female. Within three weeks, there are eight Myanmar migrant workers committed suicide.
