E-SIM is expected to be available in Myanmar in this year, according to a survey conducted by Telenor Myanmar.

An embedded-SIM (e-SIM) will be seen among electronic devices users and Internet of Things (IoT) companies in 2020.

Myanmar is cooperating with telecoms and SIM cards manufactures across the world to advance the technology.

The survey said TV platforms such as HBO, Netflix, Apple TV+ and Disney+ will be predominant in 2020 technology trend.

Moreover gaming sector in Myanmar is transformed from amateur gaming to electronic gaming rapidly in 2020.

About 50 per cent of net surfers in Myanmar are watched and downloaded songs, videos and games in recent years, according to the survey.
