Denko Trading Company topped the list of taxpayers who paid above Ks 40 billion for 2018-19 fiscal year, according to the list of taxpayers by Internal Revenue Department.
Ten top income taxpayers are: Europe & Asia Commercial Co., Ltd and Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Co., Ltd (more than Ks 20,000 million), E-Lan Co., Ltd (more than Ks 10,000 million), and International Beverages Trading Co., Ltd, Myawaddy Bank Ltd, Co-Operative Bank Public Co., Ltd, Kanbawza Bank Ltd, Myanmar Winery & Distillery Co., Ltd and Ayeyarwaddy Bank Ltd and Denko Trading Co., Ltd (less than Ks 10,000 million).
Te top commercial taxpayers are: Denko Trading Co., Ltd (above Ks 40,000 million), Kyaw San Co., Ltd and PT Power Trading Co., Ltd (less than Ks 30,000 million), City Mart Holdings Co., Ltd, Asia Energy Co., Ltd, International Beverages Trading Co., Ltd, Shwe Byainphyu Co., Ltd, Heyday Energy Trading Co., Ltd (less than Ks 20,000 million) and Max Energy Co., Ltd and Lluvia Ltd ( less than Ks 10,000 million).
Myanmar Economic Holdings Public Co., Ltd topped the list of 1,000-top income taxpayer in the production sector (more than Ks 20,000 million, International Beverages Trading Co., Ltd, in the trade sector (less than Ks 10,000 million), Myawaddy Bank Ltd, in the banking sector (less than Ks 10,000 million), Shwe Taung Development Co., Ltd in the construction sector (less than Ks 5,000 million), Jade King & Queen Gem & Jewellery Co., Ltd in the jewellery sector (less than Ks 5,000 million), IKBZ Insurance Co., Ltd in the insurance sector (less than Ks 3,000 million) and Asia World Port Management Co., Ltd, in the services sector (less than 3,000 million).
Denko Trading Co., Ltd topped the list of 1,000-top commercial taxpayers in the trade sector (more than Ks 40,000 million), Lluvia Ltd in the production sector (less than Ks 10,000 million), Shwe Taung Development Co., Ltd, in the construction sector (less than Ks 10,000 million) and Shwe Than Lwin Media Co., Ltd (less than Ks 5,000 million) in the services sector.
In 2018-19 FY, Eleven Media Group (EMG) is ranked 753th (less than Ks 200 million) on the list of top income taxpayers and 431th (less than Ks 400 million) on the list of top commercial taxpayers. The EMG has been on the list of 1,000 top taxpayers for eight consecutive years. The EMG paid Ks more than four billion in tax in eight years.
