Committee Representing Pyidaungsu Hluttaw (CRPH), National Unity Government (NUG), People’s Defence Force (PDF) and their associated -organizations as terrorist groups according to  SAC on the state owned Myawaddy TV announcement on May 8 at 8:00pm.

Anti-Terrorism Central Committee has made the announcement in accordance with Anti-terrorism Act Section 6, sub-section 5 and Section 72, sub-section (b) with the agreement from the State Administration Council 

.It was announced that those in the CRPH, and NUG instigated those involved in the CDM to do terrorist work and due to their instigation; violence took place in the entire nation, Moreover, NUG made a statement that they have formed People Defence Force (PDF) and carried out violence, supported the movement concerning with CDM, teachers, and students, it said. Previously, CRPH, NUG were declared as unlawful associations and now CRPH, NUG and PDF were declared as terrorist groups according to Myawaddy TV.
