According to the Ministry of Commerce and Trade, China stood first followed by Singapore and Thailand in the list for the highest amount of exported products into Myanmar, as of March for 2020-2021 fiscal year.

China stands at over 2.667 billion dollars, Singapore at 1.339 billion and Thailand at over 900 million dollars.

The top 10 countries, in a top-down order, is China, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, India, South Korea, Vietnam, Japan and USA.

For the 2019-2020 fiscal year, the Myanmar-China trade volume stood at over 12.126 billion dollars with Myanmar exported over 5.4 billion dollars and imported over 6.724 billion dollars. 

The commerce ministry had said that business centers are to be built in both Myanmar and China to further facilitate trade.

For the first six months of the 2019-2020 fy, China stands at over 33 percent, Thailand at 13.7 percent, Singapore at 9.7 percent. Japan at 5.3 percent, India at 4 percent and 34.3 percent from an assortment of other countries, according to an union government audit report.
