CBM sells over USD 15 million, CNY 12 million, THB 173 million within 15 days

The Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) has sold over USD 15 million, over CNY 12 million, and over THB 173 million within 15 days.

In November, the sales included over USD 15 million, over CNY 1.5 million, and over THB 100 million on November 4, at the rate of MMK 3,575 per dollar. On November 5, it announced that it would sell CNY 7 million and THB 20 million to importers via the foreign exchange market's FX trading platform. On November 6, nearly USD 9,000, CNY 489,899, and over THB 1.2 million were sold. On November 7, USD 3,343, over CNY 2 million, and over THB 21 million were sold. On November 8, USD 3,015 and over CNY 2 million were sold. On November 11, over CNY 800,000 was sold, and the Central Bank announced that it would sell THB 15 million to importers via the FX trading platform.

On November 12, THB 14.5 million was sold, and on November 14, nearly USD 400,000 was sold.

In October, the Central Bank sold various foreign currencies. On October 2, it sold over CNY 1.2 million and THB 10 million. On October 3, nearly USD 800,000, CNY 1.2 million, and THB 1 million were sold. On October 4, it sold over USD 13 million and CNY 280,000. THB 10 million was sold on October 7. On October 9, CNY 660,000 was sold. On October 10, over USD 12 million and THB 38 million were sold. On October 11, it sold over USD 700,000. On October 15, over USD 6 million and THB 199 million were sold. On October 20, the bank announced plans to sell USD 35 million. On October 21, it sold USD 2.2 million and CNY 1.5 million. On October 22, USD 7.5 million and THB 150 million were sold. On October 23, THB 20 million was sold, along with USD 2.56 million and THB 16.5 million via online platforms. On October 24, USD 100,000 and THB 8 million were sold. On October 25, the sales included USD 20 million, CNY 800,000, and THB 200,000. On October 28, the bank sold USD 16 million, CNY 1 million, and THB 18 million and announced plans to sell CNY 5 million and THB 25 million. On October 29, it sold USD 27,550. On October 30, over USD 9 million, CNY 2 million, and THB 156 million were sold. On October 31, USD 200,000 and CNY 700,000 were sold.

The Central Bank sold foreign currencies in the market as follows: On September 30, it sold over USD 13.16 million at an exchange rate of MMK 3,529 per USD and over CNY 1.8 million. On September 27, it sold USD 84,170 at MMK 3,528 per USD. On September 26, USD 40,000 was sold. On September 25, nearly USD 13 million and CNY 700,000 were sold. On September 23, nearly USD 23 million was sold. On September 20, over USD 1.28 million and CNY 800,000 were sold.
