Governor of Central Bank of Myanmar (CBM) Daw Than Than Swe met with Bangladeshi ambassador to Myanmar Dr. Md Monwar Hossain in Nay Pyi Taw on November 10.

They discussed matters related to the business conditions between the banks of the two countries including direct payment in trade with Bangladesh Taka and Myanmar Kyats to develop bilateral trade and the rice export from Myanmar to Bangladesh.

Alos present at the call were the vice governor of CBM, permanent secretary and departmental heads.

Similarly, Union Minister for Commerce U Tun Ohn met the Bangladeshi ambassador and delegation at the ministry on November 10. They discussed matters on facilitating trade through border gates and boosting export of Myanmar agricultural produce and other products.

Also present were deputy minister U Min Min, director-generals and officials concerned.
