Mawlu-Sepaing Bridge between Kachin State and Sagaing Region was attacked with bomb on May 8 at 1:00 am. The bridge was destroyed due to explosions and a large hole appeared at the floor of the bridge.

“Big vehicles couldn’t access to pass through the bridge and t  big cars about tens in number were trapped there. But, small cars were managed to pass through the destructions. A new bridge will built at the lower part of the stream according to officials who visited the place there. We couldn’t hear exchange of fire at night. It looked like a huge explosion occurred there once,” said an eye-witness.

That bridge was blasted on March 27 evening and some destruction occurred.  On May 8 morning, a bridge at the Shwe Ku jetty was attacked with bombs.
