MAWLAMYAING------An explosion occurred at a Ward Administration Office in Myoma Ward No.2 in Mudon Township, Mon State, yesterday morning, leaving four injuries, according to the dwellers.

“We heard a loud voice of a blast coming from a ward administration office around 10:30 am of December 5th. We didn’t know whether a bomb was thrown from an outside or not. Currently, four people including female clerk are injured. Two victims out of four got serious injuries. After the blast, the ambulances were going to the accident,” said one of the dwellers from Mudon Township.

After the explosion had occurred at a ward administration office, the security force rush to carry out the checks and then they made tighter security at the exit and entry in the Mudon Township, according to the nearby residents from Mudon Township.

Likewise, a bomb blast occurred near Kyaung Thit Monastery in Kyaung Thit ward of Myoma No-2 Ward in Mudon Township in the morning of July 9th and a man was injured and a vehicle was damaged during the blast.
