As rates of internet penetration rose and amount of netizens grew exponentially, many talented new celebrities arose from a plethora of online Music Videos, Photo Shoots, Short Stories and so on. One of them is Miss Poe Mamhe Thar that rightfully earned the notice of the audience and their love when she starred in the music video for the song "Thein Ga Ra Ra Tha" (loosely translated as bliss/pleasure) by a beloved music icon Sai Sai Khem Leng. She is currently going through university for her medical degree while purusing her carrer, and her hobby, in the entertainment industry. The following is an excerpt from a talk with Actress/ Model Poe Mamhe Thar.

She was born in Yangon on May 1, 1997. She is also the elder sister to a 7-years younger sister and claimed that she was neither a quiet kid nor a rambascious child but considered by her parents to be a very well-behaved daughter that obeyed her parents. She was also very keen on watching her favorite advertisements and would wait for her favorite ones to come on.

"One of my memorable childhood memories is that me and three other friends dancing Thingyan Yane (traditional dance done during Water Festival). We didn't know how to dance properly so we had to practice a lot. There were a lot of photo takens too so as a child I was extremely happy. It was very memorable," said Poe Mamhe Thar with a laugh.

She attended Basic Primary School No. (3) Bahan from Kindergarden until Primary 4, moving onto Secondary School No. (2) Bahan from then on towards until she passed her matriculation exams. While she isn't a student that particularly excelled in her studies, she picked up the slack starting around Secondary 7 as she wanted to get into University of Medicine. As proof of hardwork, she passed her exams with five distinctions. While she had distanced and hadn't thought about getting into the entertainment industry, she was picked the "Queen" (beauty queen) as a freshman at the university. Since then on, she had her chances to participate in opportunities that came her way, fueling her dream of building a career in the glamourous world of entertainment.

In regards to the Sai Sai's  "Thein Ga Ra Ra Tha" song that brought Poe Mamhe Thar into the spotlight, "When I was chosen as Queen for my university, I became part of the program by SAI Cosmetix to advertise their products with Queens from different universities. I got to know Ko Sai there and was offered to star in a new song called Thein Ga Ra Ra Tha as I fit the character's role. I thought carefully about the what will happen if I shot the video. I am happy to earn the notice and support, a generally positive response from the audience," said the young starlet.

Since then, she has been in many advertisements as well as Music Videos for different artists. She says that as of now, there are no plans to take part in movies and that she will only do so when she is experienced and prepared enough to portray the role of a character in the film.

Poe Mamhe Thar is about to be done with her medical studies as she is currently now in the final year (part 2). She've said that choosing a more formal profession of a doctor over being an actress, or vice-versa, is hard for her because she enjoys both career opportunities, especially when one of her childhood dream of becoming a doctor had compelled her to brush up on her studies and go through 7 long years of education. On the other hand, she does not want to dissapoint her fans and her own growing love for the entertainment industry despite her relatively recent start.

One can expect to see this beautiful young lady soon on many calendars as it is (as time of writing) is the season where calendar-photoshoots boom as well as several advertisements and music videos.

She closed the chat with Eleven Media with a message to her fans.

"I promise my fans that had always cheered me on and supported me..that I will never disasspoint and that I will always give my all to the most of my ability."
