Yangon—A total of 17 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 are reported, taking the total number of cases to 224, according to the statement by the Ministry of Health and Sports on 30 May.
All new confirmed patients had a travel history to India.
On 29 May, 1,214 samples—967 by National Health Laboratory (Yangon), 101 by the Department of Medical Research and 146 by No.1 Military Hospital (100-bedded) — were tested.
So far, there have been six deaths and 130 recovered patients.
