A total of 17 delivery staff, who had close contact with O Sushi Japanese Cuisine in Hlaing Township owned by COVID-19 case-146 patients, are placed in home quarantine from April 26, sources said.

The shop is located along Parami Road, Hlaing Township and they are placed in home quarantine under the arrangement of Food Panda Company. Most of them live in the township, said MP Khaing Mar Htay of Hlaing Constituency.

“I only know that the company placed them under home quarantine and I asked the authorities about the list of delivery staff from Food Panda,” said the MP.

The authorities can help them if only Food Panda informs respective authorities and the Ministry of Health and Sports, she said.

“We told 17 delivery staff to stay home quarantine and we gave Ks10,000 daily for each of them,” said an official from the company.
