Chinese delegates discuss tourism

Chinese officials from Yunnan province's management committee for cross-border economic cooperation are visiting to discuss tourism and economic development, according to the directorate of hotels and tourism.

Eight delegates led by Duan Chunxu, the secretary of the management committee which arrived overland, said destinations like Bagan and Mandalay were popular among the Chinese. 

The officials will visit Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw and various tourist attractions and leave on August 12 through the Chin Shwe Haw border.
