Myanmar to face India in Asian Cup Qualifiers on March 18

The Myanmar national football team will play India in the first leg of the third round of the Asian Cup Qualifiers for 2019 in March.

The AFC will hold all the first legs of the third round of AFC Cup Qualifiers on a single day.

The 24 teams were divided into six groups of four teams, and are due to play home-and-away round-robin matches. The top two teams of each group will qualify for the 2019 AFC Asian Cup, where they are joined by the 12 teams which qualified directly from the second round.

Kachin MMA fighter Aung La N Sang arrives in Yangon

Kachin ethnic Aung La N Sang, one of the best MMA fighters in the world, arrived in Yangon on March 25 and has planned to conduct an auction for a charity in Yangon and then make a visit to Kachin State, his place of birth.

Personal goods including sportswear used in MMA tournaments and the gold medal he won in North American Grappling Association Tournament will be put up for sale by auction. All the proceeds received from putting up the auction will be donated to the volunteer organizations who lend a hand to the IDPs at the refugee camps in Kachin State.

Magwe FC to face Cambodian team in AFC Cup tomorrow

Angkor Football Club from Cambodia and the Magwe FC from Myanmar will play the third match of their group in the AFC Cup 2017 at Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh in Cambodia tomorrow.
The match is important for both teams as only the winner will have the chance to move ahead to the next round. After the second match of the group, Philippines FC Global had won 2 matches and scored 6 goals. Magwe FC scored once, and Cambodia scored none.
