YANGON—Myanmar hockey teams will be practice in abroad in July to prepare for the 29th SEA Games, to be held in Malaysia.
Myanmar’s male hockey team hopes to practice in China in July, but if negotiations fall through, they will practice in Malaysia or Thailand.
The female team will practice in Thailand, where they will also play qualifying matches. The over-20 male hockey team also played qualifying matches in Thailand.
The Myanmar Hockey Federation has employed Pakistani coaches for the male and female teams ahead of the SEA Games.
The male hockey team won bronzes at the 2013 and 2015 SEA Games.
The female team also won bronze in the 2013 SEA Games.
